    Naval in detail.

Zoruflex Naval is the line of the system developed specifically for the maritime sector: ship decks, ferries, passenger vessels and port areas where the surface must withstand extreme conditions.

It combines lightness, high adhesion to metallic substrates and a calibrated anti-slip finish for passenger, crew and ro-ro vehicle traffic.

Formulated to resist constant salinity, humidity cycles, UV radiation, hydrocarbons and the mechanical stresses typical of naval use.

Each project is configured according to vessel type, deck zone and the requirements of the shipowner or shipyard.

    BENEFITS · 03

What it brings to the project.

    1. 01Low added weight to the structure
    2. 02Very high adhesion to naval steel
    3. 03Safe anti-slip surface for passengers and crew
    4. 04Resistance to salinity and marine environment
    5. 05Compatible with ro-ro decks and stowage areas

    PROCESS · 05

How it is executed on site.

    1. 01

      Deck inspection

Study of substrate, condition and critical zones to treat.

    2. 02

      Steel preparation

Blasting or mechanical cleaning per naval standard.

    3. 03

      Marine primer

Adhesion layer compatible with saline environments.

    4. 04

      System application

Spreading of the paving with calibrated anti-slip aggregate.

    5. 05

      Finishing and handover

Sealing, zoning marks and handover ready for service.

    Before / After

    Decks recovered with Zoruflex Naval.

The previous condition of many decks shows the real wear of the maritime environment: lifted paint, rust, loss of adhesion and slippery zones after years of salinity, humidity and continuous traffic.

After the intervention with Zoruflex Naval, the deck is left with a continuous surface, calibrated anti-slip and resistant to salinity, UV and hydrocarbons, ready to return to service without significantly adding weight to the structure.
